Enabling, Empowering & Transforming Lives
At AWMH, we believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive—and every parent deserves the tools to help them achieve this goal.
AWMH has developed simple, heartfelt audiovisual guides to help parents understand key childhood milestones, gently recognise early signs of developmental delays, and seek timely diagnosis and support.
We introduce families to the life-changing impact of Early Intervention—how therapies can develop cognitive and motor skills, improve eye contact and concentration, build communication and social skills, improve confidence of both the child and their families, and how deeply a parent’s involvement shapes their child’s progress. At our six AWMH centres, we offer Early Intervention Therapies and also provide hands-on training that empowers parents to become active partners in their child’s progress.

We’ve also shared some heart-warming, yet real, stories—of children who have taken their first steps forward, found their voice, and flourished, thanks to the consistent efforts of their families and our dedicated team of Therapists and Special Educators.

What is Autism?
AWMH NGO - Early signs of Autism
Autism often shows early in a child’s development, sometimes as early as 12–18 months. Key signs to look for include limited eye contact, delayed speech or no babbling, lack of response to their name, repetitive movements (like hand-flapping), and little interest in social interaction or play. Recognizing these signs early allows parents to seek timely support and intervention, which can make a big difference in the child’s development.
